What characters do George and Lennie remind you of ? (continued)

“You can’t compare cartoons to reality”. This is a quote that’s most said to children by their parents. But have you ever stopped to think that maybe you actually can compare cartoons to reality? Did you ever think of comparing Lennie and George to the characters Billy and Grim from the cartoon show “The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy”? Well, you can compare these characters to each other because they have a lot in common with each other. The characters both have somebody that they take care of and someone that they both need a lot in order for them not to be lonely.
Like George takes care of Lennie, Grim takes care of Billy when he baby sits him. Lennie and Billy are both a little bit “slow” and need some extra assistance because if Billy didn’t have Grim and if Lennie didn’t have George, the both would go down the wrong path by making bad decisions
George and Lennie are friends, as well as Billy and Grim. Even though Billy and Lennie both get on their friend’s nerves, they all love being around each other because they are their companions and they all need each other.
Even though all of the characters get into trouble, somehow with the help of their friends, they always get out of it. For example, when Lennie was accused for raping a female in the town Weed, it was George’s idea to run away and find a new place to stay at. Also, whenever Billy gets into trouble at school or at home, usually, Grim gets him out of the trouble.
Like best friends, Lennie and George and Billy and Grim are very close to each other. They all need each other and they all love each other, even though they might not want to admit it all the time.
